Every morning, you will awaken to birds singing, gorgeous sunshine and bright blue skies, and depending on the day, different activities happening around you: children attending educational enrichment classes and playing on the swings and seesaw; children and adults enjoying the library; busy classes in carpentry, metal work, tailoring, catering and baking in the vocational training center.  Visit with our families, stroll through the area, and engage with people who are very excited to say hello and share their stories. By simply speaking with them you are enriching their day. 

Our children are thrilled to meet visitors from around the world and our adults love to practice their English language skills with new people. You have a profound impact on their lives by spending time talking with them, running or joining an activity, playing with the children, teaching, or helping with what interests you. Being with our families will be an experience unequaled in your life. Many of our visitors are so moved they return year after year.

Our community campus is a special place where students of all ages, families, individuals and travelers gather, despite our differences as one shared humanity.

Your experience can be structured or unstructured, but will be an immersion in African life. Be as independent as you choose!
