Connect Africa Foundation helps people of Uganda invest in themselves and in the future of their community. It is a grass roots organization working with people who are not "seen" by large charitable organizations. It supports motivated and enterprising villagers who ask to work with Connect Africa to start their own businesses and with orphaned children who are in need of educational support.

Dr. Lynn S. Auerbach, Founder and Co-Director, has spent her career working with diverse populations, helping to empower individuals develop their abilities to improve their own lives. By training, Lynn is a clinical psychologist. Her life-long dream to live in Africa became a reality in 2004. (Read More About Lynn)

Kalule Charles, Co-Director, grew up in the slums of Kampala. At one point in his life, his family was homeless, and many of his friends lost to hopelessness. Charles has recently completed a certification program in counseling. Through his work, he contributes to the possibility of a better life. (Read more about Charles)

Lynn and Charles are intimately involved with the community. They are actively engaged in assessing the needs of the village, implementing start-up endeavors, and supporting the children in their efforts for obtaining an education.
